Our goal is to teach excellent horsemanship in a safe and fun environment. Riders will participate in mounted (on the horse) and unmounted activity tailored to progress each participant in learning to safely tie, groom, saddle and bridle, mount and ride a horse. We offer group or private lessons designed to progress each rider, building on their individual skills to safely enjoy connecting with and learning from the horses.

Riders will receive lessons in both mounted (on the horse) and unmounted activity, arts & crafts, and a variety of other outdoor games. Mounted activity will focus on safety, balance of the rider, and riding skills including how to communicate with your horse to turn, stop, and move forward. Each rider’s skill level will be assessed and lesson activities will be designed to progress each rider. Unmounted activity will focus on safety, horse care, tacking, untacking and tack care. Space is limited to 24 riders a week and is only available for riders 7 years and older.
Winter Riding Academy will run December 29-31. (7:30 a.m. -3:30 p.m.) Tuition is $90 per day.
Spring Riding Academy will run Monday-Friday March 16-20. (7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.) Tuition is $500 for the week.
Summer Riding Academy will run Monday-Friday. (7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.) Tuition will be $500 per week. Summer dates are below:
A $100 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration. The remaining balance will be charged 2 weeks prior to the start of the specific week.
Transportation will NOT be provided for any Riding Academy session. Drop off will be 7:30-7:50 a.m. and pickup will be from 3:00-3:30 p.m.
Riders participating in horseback riding are encouraged to bring their own ASTM-SEI certified equestrian helmet (not a bike helmet). Helmets will be provided if your rider does not have one. Riders MUST wear closed-toe shoes (boots are recommended).
